Founded in 1997 by partners Matthew Rego, Michael Rego, and Hank Unger, Araca has evolved into a global merchandise and theatrical production company, with more than 150 dedicated employees in North America, Australia, and the United Kingdom As merchandise designers, manufacturers, and retailers, Araca’s mission is to create singular, fashionable products that support our clients’ brands and marketing strategies around the world. Araca has developed fully and vertically integrated merchandising operations, with in-house design, manufacture, warehousing, and e-commerce capacity. Araca provides merchandising services for recording artists including Britney Spears, Linkin Park, OneRepublic, Zayn Malik, Godsmack, Korn, Hollywood Undead, AFI, Black Label Society, Ellie Goulding and more. In addition, Araca’s theatrical merchandise accounts include Wicked, Book of Mormon, Jersey Boys, Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Rock of Ages, Once and Matilda. Finally, Araca creates licensed products for major entertainment brands including Disney, Mattel, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks and Warner Brothers. Araca has also built a female fashion brand, Her Universe, with license that include some of the biggest names in the sci-fi/fantasy world Star Wars, Marvel, Doctor Who, Star Trek, The Walking Dead and Studio Ghibli.
