WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager who will help bring Nike’s mission to life and bring Inspiration and Innovation to every Athlete• in the world. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills needed to lead program management responsibilities, for executing cross-functional, end-to-end program delivery processes and delivering technology capabilities to our Consumers and Athletes, who are at the center of everything we do. The ability to implement program management principles and tools, and work within an agile framework will be critical in working across our technology organization in APLA (Asia Pacific Latin America).
The ideal candidate for this role will drive clarity and ensure that priorities are clear and that plans are aligned and consistent with the goals of the business and our technology organizations. As a Program Manager in the Digital Transformation (DT) team, you must be able to instill trust and gain the confidence of our stakeholders. In this role, you must be able to navigate ambiguity, connect the dots, and understand the broader strategy of Global Technology and the business - seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating strategy to program execution, enabled by effective technology business operations.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As a cross functional program manager, you will work in a variety of topics every day working with local Japan stakeholders, as well as regional and global partners, to make things happen for the organization. You will facilitate meetings, ensure actions are followed up and work to meet our deadlines.
You will actively participate in the strategic planning lifecycle and develop and manage the portfolio needed to execute our annual operating plans.
In this role, you will also be expected to manage projects’ budgets, forecasts, and actuals as well as project related communications for Japan and the APLA region. You will also have to provide the relevant project and program status updates to different stakeholders, as well as identify project risks and manage those.
Once we finish a project, you will conduct regular post project reviews and provide lessons learned for the organization to improve itself.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
In this role, you will work with different stakeholders from our organization.
You will work closely with relevant business stakeholders and execute programs demonstrating cross-functional expertise. You will also work with your colleagues in the Japan Technology as well as APLA Technology teams to ensure the required actions get done on time. You will also work and rely often on technology partners and vendors. You will work both in Japanese and English languages.
