Job Description
Financial Responsibilities:


North America IBD Demand Planning Budget

Responsibilities:


Deliver accurate and timely demand plan for North American Sales Region for select product groups

Merge business knowledge and expertise with statistical models in order to enhance the forecast while also integrating input from Sales, Marketing, Product Management and other key stakeholders

Develop detailed understanding of product and industry trends in order to further improve forecast accuracy

Analyze and highlight product strength; identify slow moving products early and react quickly to avoid excess/obsolescence inventory.

Support Sales and Operations teams with analytical reports.

Drive the monthly S&OP consensus meetings by working with the cross functional teams to ensure alignment.

Assist Manager in preparing for the Monthly Consensus and Executive S&OP meetings with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Sales Ops.

Manage the potential obsolescence to minimize inventory liabilities and drive Root Cause Problem Solving and action planning/execution.

Monthly Forecast Accuracy: Report results and issue root cause on inaccuracies.

Conduct regular business and performance reviews related to demand and supply of low stock skus with internal stakeholders.

Drive demand system enhancements that align to best-in-class processes

Creates and maintains Material Master & Info Record data in SAP as needed.

Follow internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.

Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:


BS/BA degree with 2-5 years experience in forecasting/analysis/demand planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of demand planning.

Willingness to travel overseas if required

Experience with and knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP APO (SNP/DP)

Must be committed to continuous improvement.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail a must.

Beneficial Qualifications:


Bachelors degree preferred in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration or related field.

Familiar with digital marketing analytics and eCommerce

Experience in consumer goods importing

Knowledge of the Cycling or Outdoor Sports Industry or passion for the sport

The candidate should be self-motivated, highly flexible, and have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced demanding environment.

Physical Qualifications:


Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Must be able to sit at a computer and type for extended periods of time.
