<p><strong>VICE x Team</strong></p>
<p>The Post Production team is a busy and vital part of the business, servicing the requirements of VICE Media Group’s internal departments such as VICE Studios, VICE News, VICE Digital, i-D, Virtue and VICE TV.</p>
<p><strong>Role x You</strong></p>
<p>As our Post Production Supervisor, you will manage and oversee the Post Production department, liaising between Production Executives, Production Managers and the Post Production team to align all services and workflows. This includes managing all aspects of the post-production technical departments and overseeing all edits and project deliveries for all internal and external partners. </p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Liaise with the Global and Regional Post Production Leads to ensure services are aligned and resourced according to Production Executives requirements</li>
<li>Oversee the encoding, ingesting, and uploading all footage from a variety of formats to VICE servers and MAM</li>
<li>Implementation and innovation of archive and encoding workflows, working closely with VICE NYC Post Production headquarters</li>
<li>Monitor and troubleshooting Post Production equipment functionality and reporting any technical issues to Media Tech or IT</li>
<li>Manage key leaders across all Post Production functions to ensure growth in the departments’ development; always with a mindset to drive a culture of innovation</li>
<li>Partake in weekly International meeting with other VICE offices</li>
<li>Hands-on training/coaching, troubleshooting, project management, quality control and occasional editing</li>
<li>Develop connections with external UK Post Production facilities for overflow and collaborations. </li>
<li>General Post Production duties; this may include delivering links to Producers and troubleshooting and administrative duties from time to time</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>
<p><strong>You have these</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Superior knowledge of media formats; SD cards, CF Cards, SxS cards, video codecs, Adobe Creative Suite etc. as well as Tapeless Formats, Pro Tools, LTO-5, Cache-A Tape System</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of Post Production processes and heavy experience delivering content to digital and network specifications</li>
<li>Proven experience in managing personnel and being across the financial and operational aspects of a Post Production department in a busy facility </li>
</ul>
