Chums and Beyond Coastal Names New Marketing Director

Chums, accessories helping you hang on while you work or play, and sister brand Beyond Coastal, award-winning sun care products, are pleased to announce the hire of Colleen Gilligan who will lead all marketing operations for both brands out of the Sun Valley office, effective immediately.
Bringing her career full circle, Gilligan returns to Sun Valley where she began her outdoor industry experience as a marketing coordinator for Scott Sports. Following three years at Scott, she joined The North Face in California for nearly four years in brand management and marketing operations with key roles in launching the brand’s Mountain Athletics category as well as building the marketing framework and processes for bringing seasonal product to the market.
“We are thrilled to welcome Colleen to our family,” says VP of Sales Mike Neary. “She brings the talent, experience and tenacity we need to navigate and strengthen our brands across all dealer and consumer touch points.”
Chums and Beyond Coastal is a family-owned and operated business with offices in both Idaho and Utah.

As for her return to Sun Valley, she is excited to make the move with her young family. “There’s nowhere I’d rather be, raise my son, work really hard on something I’m passionate about, and continue a life outdoors,” says Gilligan.
