November 29, 2021 – Los Angeles – Today, toddler and kid footwear brand Oomphies announced that it has made strategic hires to its sales team in order to help continue its brand expansion into new retail opportunities and beyond. These new sales reps include footwear industry vets Bud Barcroft, Sharon Shipman and Craig Teed.
“For any parent, finding the right footwear for their kids is a delicate balance of style, fit and comfort, and Oomphies has always been about meeting those criteria in everything we do,” said Debbi Laubsch, sales director for Oomphies. “These strategic hires to Oomphies will help us extend our coveted styles to a broader retail base, allowing parents and family members discover what makes our brand ideal for any kid in their lives. We welcome Bud, Sharon and Craig to the team and look forward to a prosperous 2022.”
Barcroft is a third-generation professional coming from a chain of family-owned footwear retail stores until 2000. He has been a successful sales executive for more than 21 years, selling a variety of well-known children’s brands to many retail accounts.
Shipman has more than 15 years’ experience in shoe sales and teamed up with Barcroft in prior businesses before joining Oomphies. Both Barcroft and Shipman are based in the south, working on accounts in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky.
With more than 25 years sales experience in footwear, Teed has worked with several companies selling a variety of brands over his career with a demonstrated history of success in retail sales, e-commerce, brand development, inventory management and marketing strategy. Teed is based on the East Coast and includes Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
