Future Network USA Promotes Jason Ford to Publishing Director:

San Marcos, CA – Future Network USA today announced that it has promoted Jason Ford to Publishing Director of its San Diego-based action-sports magazine and multimedia group.

In his new role, Jason will be responsible for managing all day-to-day activities of the San Diego-based group. Along with overseeing the profitability of the action-sports titles, he will also play an integral role in setting each publication’s overall direction – including editorial, marketing, circulation, and sales – and will actively determine target markets, manage personnel, and oversee all group goals.

“Jason is a great motivator.  He’s adept at product development and has a good business sense to plan, organize, direct, and control the resources for producing great magazines,” says Jonathan Simpson-Bint, President of Future Network USA.  “Jason will lead and react to the changing needs of the communities we serve while delivering solid financial performance.  He possesses the qualities needed to develop the business with extensive knowledge of the industry and the relevant publishing landscape of print, online, and DVD properties – all essential attributes for this position.”

“A very good friend once told me that by surrounding yourself with great people, you make your life a lot easier,” says Ford.  “Since we already have so many great people in place here at Future, my main focus will be to help them reach the full scope of their potential.”

Until the new office in Solana Beach is completed, Jason’s time will be shared between the San Marcos and La Jolla office locations.
