Flow Welcomes Chad Perrin as New National Sales Manager

September 1, 2005- San Clemente, CA.
Flow, the original producer of the reclining highback binding, has named industry veteran Chad Perrin as the new National Sales Manager.  Chad comes into the position with many years of industry experience.  From his beginnings as a team rider for K2 in 1991, Chad has worked his way up through the action sports ranks, with stops along the way at solid companies such as; XXX Snowboard Wax, 686 Clothing, Out of Bounds Snowboard Shop, and Option and NFA.  In his most recent position at Option/NFA Chad was employed as the Marketing and Team Manager.

As for his switch to the sales side of the industry with his recent career move, Chad quoted, “My passion has always been in sales.  The reason I like the ‘Flowgram’ is simple, they have a great crew of people that have a proven track record and they have a unique product offering with a loyal consumer base.  Combine those things together with a great team backed by solid marketing and you have a recipe for success. Flow has huge potential in my eyes and that potential has not yet been tapped.  I believe that the Flow “Triple Threat” system offers riders huge performance benefits that no other company does, which is one of Flow's clearly unique advantages.”

According to Johnny West, Flow’s Vice President of Sales, the addition of Chad is proof of the company’s growing influence in the market.  “It’s great to have another key industry veteran join the company, and it’s further evidence that the Flow brand is on fire!” said West,  “Chad’s focus, understanding, and relationships within the core specialty retail market are a perfect fit for the many programs we plan to initiate to further support the specialty retailer. Without a doubt, Chad rounds out our domestic sales team.”

In his new position, Chad will be working closely with West to promote Flow’s Triple Threat Technology and increase the Flow presence within the entire retail base, in particular with Flow’s valued “T3” dealers.  He can be reached at the Flow office at 949-361-5260 x 137, or through email at chad@flow.com.

Flow is the originator of the reclining high-back binding, since it’s beginnings in 1995; Flow has been the leader in sales of this technology.  Over the past ten years, in addition to perfecting the reclining high back, Flow introduced it’s own line of boots and boards, which have seen increases in sales every year.

Today Flow is known for it’s ease of use, comfort, and advanced control gained when using their products.  Most recently, Flow introduced “Triple Threat Technology,” a system of boots, boards, and bindings designed to heighten ease of use and control when used together.  The success of Triple Threat was evidenced this year by the excellence of the Flow Pro Team riders, Antti Autti, Risto Mattila, and Scotty Lago.
