Sam Herrbach Accepts New Responsibilities at Flow

June 9, 2006, San Clemente, CA

The past two years have been full of change for San Clemente based Flow Snowboarding.  The brand has seen major changes in product direction, marketing direction, and brand direction, all of which have resulted in increases in sales and brand awareness worldwide.  The implementation and success of these changes can be attributed to the new management and company structure including the hiring of decision maker Anthony Scaturro as Brand Manager and President of Flow.

Johnny West, who until June 7th was the VP of Sales for the organization, has stepped down from his position to pursue other opportunities.  Sam Herrbach has accepted additional responsibilities including the overseeing of Sales as well as continuing his prior position as Operations Manager.  As the VP of Sales and Operations, Sam will be responsible for the oversight and support of the independent rep force, customer service, and logistics.  He will also work closely with Anthony Scaturro on key account relationships to continue to drive sales and profitability.

Flow is the originator of the reclining hi-back binding. Since it’s beginnings in 1995, Flow has been the leader in sales of this technology.  Over the past ten years, in addition to perfecting the reclining hi-back, Flow introduced it’s own line of boots and boards, which have seen increases in sales every year.

Today Flow is known for its ease of use, comfort, and advanced control gained when using their products.  Most recently, Flow introduced “Triple Threat Technology,” a system of boots, boards, and bindings designed to heighten ease of use and control when used together.  The success of Triple Threat was evidenced this year by the excellence of the Flow Pro Team riders, Antti Autti, Risto Mattila, and Scotty Lago.
