Forum to Host 13 North American Youngblood Snake Sessions in 2007

Forum Snowboards is proud to announce that for a fifth consecutive season, its Youngblood Series will bring amateur snowboarding jams to 13 resorts throughout the U.S. and Canada from January through the end of March 2007.

After four years of running the most well-recognized amateur snowboarding contest series in the world, this season Forum has totally flipped the switch and is taking a much more laid-back, grassroots approach to its signature Youngblood Series.

For 2007, the biggest change is that there are no divisions or classes.  Therefore, at each event male and female riders of all ages and abilities will battle it out for Youngblood supremacy in a no-holds-barred, SNAKE SESSIONS contest format designed to mimic a heated day on the hill where it’s snake or be snaked.  Additionally, Forum’s team of world-class pro riders will call the shots on how the events run, ensuring no two are exactly the same.  Each “hometown” pro will set the rules, select the terrain (superpipe, rail, quaterpipe, booter, etc.), and serve as head judge.

All Forum Youngblood SNAKE SESSIONS are free to enter with registration taking place at host resorts the morning of each competition.  To the victor go the spoils in the form of a grip of rad 2007 Forum gear as well as a coveted “check out” on Forum’s website.  That’s right, first place finishers will have an exclusive interview accompanied by choice photos posted on forumsnowboards.com.  Furthermore, male and female competitors 18 years of age and younger will vie for a lucrative spot on Forum’s prestigious Youngblood Team.

Forum’s eagerly-awaited SNAKE SESSIONS are made possible in part through generous support from returning sponsor Snickers.  And Mt. Hood’s own, Cobra Dogs, will be along for the ride as well this year, filling up riders with free hot dogs at select tour stops.  Log on to www.forumsnowboards.com to find out more.
