2007 H2O Winter Classic ready to serve up a Monster dose of the California Lifestyle.
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., Jan 10 -- The H2O Winter Classic makes its return on Feb 10th and 11th. The H2O, as it's become known to athletes, will bring together the best surfers and snowboarders to put their respective skills to the test in the surf and on the snow.
From its grassroots origins in 1992 as a gathering of friends and local kids, the H2O grew into a weekend blowout recognized by fans and industry alike as a trailblazer among the explosion of action sports events. In addition, pro surfers and snowboarders from all over the world ride alongside amateurs and industry competitors, creating an aura of camaraderie and competition unseen elsewhere.
"This event is the embodiment of the California lifestyle" said Vipe Desai, President of Propaganda and Event Producer. "We're lucky to have two natural venues so close together to make this type of event possible."
The H2O will see 12 invited pro surfers and 12 invited pro snowboarders compete for bragging rights and prize money. 24 amateur boardriders and 12 invited industry movers and shakers will also battle it out in their own divisions for prizes.
This years H2O Winter Classic is being presented by Monster Energy.

The first day of the event will take place on the south side of the world famous Huntington Beach Pier in Huntington Beach, CA. The following day, boardriders will trek up to Mountain High Resort where a combo slope-style-jib-fest will be the final determining factor as to who the overall Pro, Amateur and Industry Boardriders are.
