Surf Expo is up for Auction on ebay!

Atlanta, GA, April 20, 2007 – Surf Expo has put themselves up for auction on ebay. No, not the show! Just some exhibit space. The auction started on April 17, and will run for ten days, ending promptly at 4:23:38 PM East Coast time on April 27, 2007. There is no reserve and the starting bid is just $99.99. All of the proceeds will go to the National Save the Sea Turtle Foundation, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

September’s Surf Expo brings the second annual Surf Expo Rail Jam presented by Liquid Force, another record-breaking purse at the Volcom mini-ramp contest, the WSIA Wake & Waterski Awards, another big surprise act at their industry party and more fresh events. Plus, don’t forget the real reason the show grows with each passing installment -- a crowd of thousands of buyers packing the aisles with pen and paper in hand. Space is already booking up faster than ever!

The auction idea came straight from Lori Kisner, Surf Expo Show Director. “We are constantly looking for new ways to raise awareness for charity,” she said, “and we all know the kind of excitement that an auction generates, especially an e-auction!”

All current and new exhibitors are encouraged to bid on the 10' x 10' booth space for this September’s show. Exhibitors who have already purchased their space will be refunded for one 10' x 10', and will be expected to pay the winning amount through ebay means. Surf Expo will accept paypal, check or credit card.

Along with the special space, the winning bidder will get special coverage in the Surf Expo show newsletter, the Daily Flush, and will be featured on their website.
