STRIKE! --- Southern California Retailers Get a Sneak Peak at Nikita’s Selekzions Line

Orange, CA--- The action sports industry gathered at the Block at Orange on May 3, 2007 for a VIP Nikita event. The Lucky Strike Bowling lanes played host to a celebration for the brand’s new Selekzion line.  

Southern California retailers and industry types were treated to a fashion show of the line, which features higher-end evening wear with a Nikita twist. The unique fashion forward apparel is perfect for nights of lipstick and lobster, and includes stylish prints and high-end fabrics. The head-to-toe Dorothy velour jumpsuit was a crowd favorite.  

“The Selekzion line is hot!” Nikita team rider Laura Hadar said. She then stepped on to the lanes and bowled a perfect strike in her first attempt. From there the real party got started with drinks, pool and bowling. It wasn’t long before balls were bouncing off the ceiling (literally.) 

Pro-turned-filmer Neil Goss proved to be the biggest shark of the evening, as his skills extend far beyond the mountain and into the lanes. But everyone, including representatives from 9 Star, Active, Surfside sports, Transworld, Apparel News, Snowboard Mag, Forum, Vestal, Fuel, Oakley and ESPN found the party and Lucky Strike’s short lanes and the perfect environment for rolling. 

“It was the most fun I’ve ever had bowling,” Hadar said. 

Consumers will have to wait until September 1 to get their hands on the Selekzion line, when the limited items hit stores.
