Collective International, LP Grants New U.S. Licsense to Fashion Options for Airwalk Branded Apparel and Accessories
(ENGLEWOOD, CO) - MAY 18, 2007 - Collective International, LP (Collective), a leading youth lifestyle marketing and licensing company which is the owner of the Airwalk(r), brand, announced today that it has granted a license to New York-based Fashion Options for Airwalk branded apparel and accessories in the United States. Launched in 1986, the Airwalk(r) brand is recognized worldwide as one of the original action sports brands and is currently distributed in more than 100 countries across the globe.
Under the multi-year agreement, Fashion Options will design, sell and cooperatively market an entirely new collection of Airwalk branded apparel and accessories. Launching for holiday with a boys' and young men's apparel offering, the Airwalk apparel and accessory collection will ultimately include a comprehensive lifestyle line ranging from shirts, pants and outerwear to socks, hats, backpacks and sunglasses geared toward the brand's youth lifestyle demographic.
The initial product offering will hit shelves as early as Fall 2007 and will be available in youth-oriented specialty and better department stores nationwide.
Fashion Options is a 25-year-old, branded and private label apparel design, product development and marketing support agency with a range of globally-renowned brands. To support the Airwalk apparel collection, Fashion Options will be opening a New York showroom in June 2007 dedicated to Airwalk apparel and accessories, located centrally in Times Square.
