FUEL TV Breaks Out Big November
New Seasons of “The Great Ride Open” and “The Standard Snowboard Show” Premiere

“In God’s Hands” and “Riding Giants” debut on FUEL TV.

LOS ANGELES, CA –FUEL TV announces its November slate of action sports programming.  Now in 24 million homes, FUEL TV is the network in the United States dedicated to the lifestyles of surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, freestyle motocross, BMX and wakeboarding.

The Great Ride Open
– Episodes premiere weekly Sundays at 8:30pm ET, 11:30pm ET. Episodes repeat Wednesdays at 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET in FUEL TV’s Moto Mix.

Freestyle motocross returns to its roots as four FMX champions hit the road for a two-week tour of America's most picturesque, all-natural freeride terrain. This six-part series stars 2007 X Games gold medalist Ronnie Renner; nine-time X Games medalist Tommy Clowers; X Games champ Matt Buyten and top Red Bull rider Drake McElroy.

The Standard Snowboard Show
– Episodes premiere weekly Tuesday nights in Snow Pack at 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET.

The masters of snowboard filmmaking translate their cinematic skills and access to the world’s greatest riders in FUEL TV’s original half-hour snowboard series. The new season combines athlete profiles, snowboarding history, backcountry riding, and new features like the Travis Parker-hosted “Slam Extravaganza” and “Stoney Moments.”

Tige Pro Am – 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET
The race for the wakeboard championship title comes down to the final event, the Tige Pro Am presented by Rockstar. Held in Cancun, Mexico, the event marks the close of the King of Wake as pro wakeboarders Rusty Malinoski and Phillip Soven battle it out to claim the crown.

The ASP Women’s World Tour - Rip Curl Girls Festival – 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET
The top 17 women surfers head to Liencres, Spain for the fourth stop of the 2007 World Championship Tour.

The Making of The Beginning - 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET
Ten years after “The End,” Birdhouse Skateboards releases “The Beginning” featuring their pro team and up-and-coming talent. Check out parts from Tony Hawk, Jeremy Klein, Willy Santos, Shaun White, and many more in locations including Dubai, Australia, and Japan. Go behind the scenes to see how these insane tricks were captured on film.

SWERVE FESTIVAL Awards – 9:30pm ET, 12:30am ET
SWERVE FESTIVAL is a new annual festival dedicated to celebrating the West Coast creative culture and its community inspired by art, film, music, and action sports. Taking place in LA, the three-day festival will close with an awards show hosted by Jason Lee and Chris Pastras.

Foster’s ASP Men’s World Tour - Quiksilver Pro, France – 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET
The top 45 surfers in the world compete in the Quiksilver Pro in France for the next stop of surfing's premier competitive circuit, the Foster’s ASP World Tour. Held in Hossegor, this event gives tour front runners Mick Fanning, Kelly Slater, and Taj Burrow a chance to score valuable points in a beach break that can boast waves of 10 to 12 feet.

Backcountry Bombshells – 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET in Snow Pack
Red Bull's women’s snow team meets in British Columbia’s backcountry to drop into the powder-packed lines. The nerves run high as they take their first descents down the sheer mountain faces. Even after an avalanche brings them face to face with the danger of the backcountry, the adrenaline and thrill of achievement make it all worthwhile. Featuring: Kristi Leskinen, Andrea Binning, Anne-Flore Marxer, and Marie-France Roy.

6IX – 8:30pm ET, 11:30pm ET in FUEL TV’s Moto Mix
6IX showcases the lives of top motocross stars Davi Millsaps, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, Ryan Villopoto, Mike Mason, and Billy Laninovich and offers a behind the scenes look of how these stars live when not competing.

Design For Humanity – 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET in SurfSpot
Go behind the scenes of Billabong’s fundraiser for SurfAid International at the Avalon in Hollywood, California, which features a fashion show, an art auction, and a musical performance by Shiny Toy Guns. Then travel to Indonesia with the Billabong Girls surf team to see SurfAid at work.     

2007 WQS Maldives Pro – 8:30pm ET, 11:30pm ET in SurfSpot
2007 Maldives Pro lets surfers on the World Qualifying Series ride waves in paradise. It’s a stand alone ASP five-star-rated (big points, big prize money) WQS event, which means the pressure’s on since the top 16 on the WQS ratings at the end of the year qualify for the next year’s ASP World Tour.

The Malibu Pro Team Challenge – 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET

The Malibu Pro Team Challenge pits the stacked pro teams of the world’s top wakeboard manufacturers against each other. The stakes are high in this brand-new tournament. With a $25,000 “Winner-Take-All” prize at stake, the teams will have to excel at three different wake disciplines - a Double-Up contest, a Kicker Big Air contest and Pool Gap Rail Jam – to take home the cash.

Foster’s ASP Men’s World Tour - Billabong Pro, Spain – 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET in SurfSpot
The top 45 surfers in the world compete in the Billabong Pro in Mundaka, Spain for the next stop of surfing’s premier competitive circuit, the Foster’s ASP World Tour. Held on famous left hand rivermouth wave, Bobby Martinez fights to defend his title, while the overall race for the world championship is getting tighter between Mick Fanning, Kelly Slater, and Taj Burrow.

Strange Notes: Cruz’n AZ – 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET
This installment of Strange Notes “Cruz in AZ” features two hard-hitting sections from a Santa Cruz excursion down to Phoenix, AZ with the entire team – Alex Carolino, Flo Marfaing, Ted Degros, Marius Syvanen, and Sid Melvin – tearing up the streets. The Krux team is globetrotting, this time in Barcelona, Spain, filming for “I’m Feeling it” with Ron Whaley, Silas Baxter Neal, and Nestor Judkins, with a special part from Marcos Gomez, a Spanish local. Bryan Botelho puts it down in San Francisco with as much style as you could ask for. Also featuring a trick tip from world famous vert skater Jake Brown.

In God’s Hands – 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET
Three pro surfers – gifted Shane, once-great Mickey, and rising star Keoni – travel to Madagascar, Bali and Hawaii in search of the ultimate wave. Theirs is not merely a journey toward this elusive wave, but a solemn pact with nature to never stop pushing the limits of their abilities. World class surfers Shane Dorian, Matt George and Matty Liu star in a dramatic adventure of friendship and courage, featuring some of the most spectacular surfing footage ever filmed.

Riding Giants – 9:00pm ET, 12:00am ET
Directed by Stacy Peralta (Dogtown & Z Boys), “Riding Giants” takes us along surfing’s timeline from its early Polynesian roots to present day, highlighting the group of extraordinary adventurers who emerged: surfers who could not resist their yearning for bigger and bigger waves. “Riding Giants” is the story of these big-wave riders, of where and how their quest began and where it has gone to. From Hawaii to Mavericks to big-wave locations around the world, “Riding Giants” pays homage to the awe-inspiring surfers who risk their lives for the ultimate thrill. Byerly Toe Jam presented by O’Neill – 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET
The Byerly Toe Jam presented by O’Neill is the final stop of the Byerly Toe Jam Tour and proves worthy of being the tour’s namesake. This is the last chance for the best wakeskaters in the world to show off their talent. Top pros like Kyle Walton, Aaron Reed, and Brandon Thomas will face off in three categories: a wake portion, a rail jam, and winch best-trick contest.

ASP Women’s World Tour – NAB Beachley Classic - 8:00pm ET, 11:00pm ET in SurfSpot
seven-time world champion Layne Beachley hosts the richest event in women's surfing and the fifth stop of the 2007 World Tour, the NAB Beachley Classic from Sydney, Australia.
