eesa Layers Up with BBPR for Non-Endemic Marketing

San Diego, CA – eesa lux layering will be partnering with BBPR for non-endemic public relations and marketing efforts for the launch of their 2008-09 product line.  As copycat brands make headway into the lux layering space eesa pioneered in 2005, BBPR will assist eesa in telling their unique story to media outside of the core action sports community.

Until recently, first-layer offerings were incredibly static.  Many snowboarders left them out of the equation, opting for more stylish, albeit poor-performing, t-shirts and hoodies.  eesa’s founder and brand director, Stephen Cleary, had the vision to create layering pieces that riders would actually want to wear on and off the hill. By bringing multi-functional style and fabrics to design driven products, eesa changed the face of modern layering.  BBPR will help eesa communicate this vision to mainstream media.

“So many media outlets cover snowboarding now, but they’re often focused on the bigger brands, which makes it harder for the smaller guys to promote their own innovations,” stated Cleary.  “The BBPR team has knowledge of action sports and the relationships with the non-core snowboard media to help expand our awareness to riders that could be into eesa, but haven’t been exposed to us as of yet.”
