FALL SERIES
“Built to Shred,” Sundays, 8:00 pm ET/PT beginning September 28, 2008
“Built to Shred,” a new series on FUEL TV, is the world's first build-and-ride sports show featuring top skateboarders, BMXers, FMXers and surfers. Each episode will feature host Jeff King working closely with the pros to design, build, and shred the coolest obstacles ever. Far-fetched ideas become shreddable realities as athletes wield power tools, create legendary terrain, and throw down tricks that have never been done before. The show started as a segment on the popular “American Misfits” series, and has now spun off to its own show with original six episodes.
“The Adventures of Danny & The Dingo,” Tuesdays, 8:00 pm ET/PT, beginning September 30, 2008 in the “Snow Pack” programming block
On September 30, FUEL TV will premiere another original series, “The Adventures of Danny & The Dingo.” The show follows/shadows two-time Olympic silver medalist and snow icon Danny Kass, zero-time Olympic medalist and snow personality The Dingo, and the rest of the Grenade team striking back from the stale conformity that has plagued the snowboard industry for far too long. Rap mogul Lil Jon guides us through three months on the road with Danny, Dingo, their loyal dog Big Vern, and a hyperactive Lucas Magoon to comb the country and track down the next Grenade team member.
“The Great Ride Open,” Wednesdays, 8:00 pm ET/PT, beginning October 1, 2008 in “FUEL TV’s Moto Mix” programming block
“The Great Ride Open,” season two, puts the FMX world center stage, taking the riders out of the competition and exhibition circuit and getting back to the roots of the sport – freeriding. Join Ronnie Renner, Drake McElroy, Tommy Clowers and young gun Lance Coury as they embark on a 3,500-mile FMX freeriding odyssey.
“The Captain & Casey Show,” Fridays, 8:00 pm ET/PT, beginning October 3, 2008 in the “Skate & 8” programming block
“The Captain & Casey Show,” season six, will feature the dynamic duo back to bring the viewers at home a new bag of tricks, a world-famous guest list and a brand-new batch of drink girls. This season Captain and Casey take it up a notch by interviewing such heavy hitters as Paul Rodriguez, Brian Anderson, Rob Welsh, and Stefan Janoski, just to name a few. Their man on the street, Dirty Ernie, probes deep into the underbelly of skateboarding, reporting from such places as the L.A. River, a hookah bar, and of course behind a filthy dumpster. The special effects this season are mind-blowing, as the duct-tape budget was nearly doubled. Captain and Casey travel around the globe on their signature Travel Log, keeping their finger on the pulse of skateboarding. So tune in to FUEL TV for thirteen more rollercoaster rides on The Captain and Casey Show.
