FUEL TV Launches on Demand Service with DIRECTV and VERIZON FiOS
Hours of Network’s Favorite Programming Showcased

Fox Cable Networks today announced that it has reached an agreement with DIRECTV and Verizon FiOS to launch On Demand service for FUEL TV, the only television network covering the lifestyle and culture of action sports, including skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, BMX, freestyle motocross, and wakeboarding.

Each month FUEL TV On Demand will showcase 10 original hours of programming, while a high rate of refresh will keep action sports enthusiasts accessing the service on a regular basis.

“FUEL TV continues to grow and expand its distribution options,” said CJ Olivares, FUEL TV’s General Manager. “Our viewer is active and tech savvy, and will want to watch shows on their schedule. Our new On Demand service will allow skaters, snowboarders, and surfers to get out and do what they love, and still be able to catch their favorite shows on FUEL TV On Demand when they want to. And we couldn’t think of better partners than Verizon FiOS and DIRECTV to launch this exciting new service.”

Action sports and the action sports lifestyle continue to surge in popularity throughout the United State. The shows premiering on FUEL TV On Demand in December include: Drive Thru New Zealand (surfing); The Captain & Casey Show (skateboarding); The Adventures of Danny & the Dingo (snowboarding); The Great Ride Open (motocross); and Built to Shred (FUEL TV selects). Future FUEL TV shows included in the service include: On Surfari; Check 1, 2; The Standard Snowboard Show; Props; Firsthand; Drive Thru South Africa; New Pollution; Terje’s Season Pass, and American Misfits.
