First Annual Freeze X Fest Coming to Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009

The Freeze X Fest is going to host 3 events including the following: AMA Grand National Championship Ice Racing, Freestyle Snowmobile Exhibition with Justin Hoyer and Crew, and a Snowboard Park Jam Competition.

This year’s snowboard park jam isn’t going to be your run-of-the-mill rail jam.  The course will feature a combination of old school natural features and some one-of-a-kind street inspired features that will challenge even the best riders.  Right now the prize purse will be at a minimum of $2000 for first place, and as the competition grows near, the total prize purse could monetarily increase!  Mark this on your calendar and make sure to stop by.

As a note for Michigan USASA members: There is NO COMPETITION on that weekend so your schedules are free!  The entire Midwest is clear for that weekend and a great turnout is expected.  Right now, rider registration is limited to 100 competitors, so riders need to register as early as possible.

More info will be on the website soon.  Anyone interested in participating in this event as a sponsor please contact drivenagency@gmail.com.  This event is already scheduled for TV next year as a round of the AMA Racing series and will feature all the events on site. Yamaha will be on site giving consumer demo rides with their snowmobiles and there will be plenty of snowboard companies on site as well.

Right now, the plan for Sunday is to have a snowboard camp that will run from 10:00am to 5:00pm with Pro Snowboarders on site to give campers a great one day mini camp.
