Oxbow Joins Forces With The Rincon Classic
Oxbow is pleased to announce its involvement with the upcoming Rincon Classic January 17 and 18. “This contest is the longest running and most revered surf event on the central coast. “We are honored to be a sponsor of the 2009 event,” states Gary Hunt, CEO Oxbow USA. “We believe our participation with the Rincon Classic will help solidify Oxbow as a key brand in California.” Coming off the recent sponsorship of the World Longboard Tour in San Clemente, Oxbow is thrilled to be the major sponsor of the Longboard division. “I have worked with Chris Keet in the past, and am very confident this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever,” enthused Tom Brown, Oxbow Sales.
Oxbow’s Team Manager, Tom Reese, will be on hand to scout new riders from the Central Coast to add to the newly formed Oxbow Surf Team. “This is a great opportunity to showcase the area’s top surfers in all divisions,” states Reese.
