FUEL TV Announces an Amazing February Programming Line Up
Season two of “FUEL TV presents Camp Woodward” premieres

February specials include the “Blue Carpet Special – Writing on the Wall,” “Check 1, 2 – Against Me!,” “SPoT’s Tampa Am” and “2008 VTCS: Reef Pro Haleiwa.”

FUEL TV, the only network dedicated to the lifestyle of action sports, announces a brand new season of “FUEL TV presents Camp Woodward” on February 15 at 8:30pm ET/PT. This new series joins an action-packed line up of new specials including “Blue Carpet Special – Writing on the Wall,”2008 VTCS: Reef Pro Haleiwa.”

FUEL TV presents Camp Woodward – season 2 – 8:30pm ET/PT

Camp Woodward is the most prestigious action sports camp in the world—a young kid’s dream summer trip. In this new season, we follow three new campers, Hunter Bagent, Cody Davis and Larry Schmidt on their camp experience like no other. Cody is a 15 year old who comes to camp as a popular seasoned skater and finds himself deeply immersed in Woodward’s many activities and skate parks. Larry, also a 15 year old camper, has a trying experience as he pays his way through camp by washing dishes and delivering mail. Meanwhile, Hunter, a BMX rider from Austin, Texas, simply strives to adapt to the many new people, experiences, and vast differences between camp life and his home life. With sessions in all of Woodward’s amazing skate parks, along with visits from last year’s campers Tony Christopher, Miles Mullanix and Tyler Correll, this season will be the best ever remembered!

Check 1, 2 – Against Me! – 8:00pm ET/PT in Meet & Brotatoes

The day after completing their two-month run playing as a headliner on the Vans Warped Tour, the band Against Me!, who had Spin Magazine’s 2007 Album of the Year,  played a top secret show for a few of its biggest Los Angeles area fans. It was no frills, no stage, no bouncers, no tickets or hype—just the band playing an all-request show for 30 kids in a hot and sweaty storefront on Fairfax Ave in LA. Check it out as FUEL TV throws down a rare chance to see the present and future of punk, Against Me!, treat its loyal following to an explosive DIY performance.

SPoT’s Tampa Am – 8:00pm ET/PT in Skate @ 8

The Tampa Am is the biggest and most prestigious amateur skateboarding contest in the world, launching the pro careers for the likes of Kyle Berard, Cody McEntire, and Ryan Decenzo. Held each year at the world famous Skate Park of Tampa, watch the best amateur skateboarders battle it out. More than 200 skaters attended the contest from to skate the new course designed by Team Pain. Watch amazing up-and-comers including Scott Decenzo, Luan de Oliveira, Cody Davis and David Torgerson destroy the course.

2008 VTCS: Reef Pro Haleiwa – 8:00pm ET/PT

The first stop of the 2008 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing was the 2008 Reef Pro Haleiwa, which turned out to be one of the best contests ever held for the first jewel of the Triple Crown. With conditions that more closely resembled the hollow tubes of Tahiti or Hawaii’s Off-The-Wall, the finalists put on an unbelievable demonstration of deep tube riding. Kekoa Bacalso, Dusty Payne, Michel Bourez, 2000 World Champ Sunny Garcia, Timmy Reyes and others battle it out in this amazing contest.

Insane Cinema: Secret Machine – 9:30pm ET/PT

The surf movie Secret Machine won “Best Cinematography” at the 2006 Surfer Poll Awards. This award-winning film is an exploration of the inner most thoughts of the best surfers in the world. The most quirky and private dreamscapes of CJ and Damien Hobgood, Taj Burrow, Nathan Webster, Occy, Yadin Nicol and the rest of the Globe surf team are divulged, exposing a surreal world of magic, mystery and science.
