Transworld Media Announces Adam Hawes as New Associate Editor for Transworld Snowboarding
TransWorld Media is proud to announce the addition of Adam Hawes as an associate editor at TransWorld SNOWboarding. Prior to taking on this role, Hawes single-handedly acted as both the editor and publisher of ECS Media for both print and online.
"The opportunity to join TransWorld SNOWboarding is a dream come true,” said Hawes. “The amazing crew—from artists and writers to marketing and management is among the best in the world, and I’m more than honored to become a part of the team. I’m beyond stoked on what the future holds, and hope I can be a productive and positive force in maintaining and growing the TransWorld legacy.”
In his new role, Hawes will work with riders, photographers, manufacturers and resorts as one of the faces of TransWorld SNOWboarding, and will assist in writing content for print and digital. He will also provide content for snow-related events and contests, and be an authoritative voice for the magazine. Hawes will report to TransWorld SNOWboarding’s Editor-in-Chief Annie Fast.
“Adam is a super-enthusiastic snowboarder with the proven skills to share his diverse snowboarding experiences and knowledge with our readers. He’s well-connected to both the pros and industry professionals, he’s a ripping rider, and a valuable addition to our edit team” said Fast.
New England born and raised, Adam relocated west and now calls North County San Diego home.
