This Week on The Weekly Update: we’re on the scene at California’s Mammoth Mountain Resort with all the highlights from the 6th Annual Roxy Chicken Jam presented by Rockstar. In other snowboard news, Finland’s Peetu Piiroinen wins the Oakley Arctic Challenge, securing an unassailable lead toward his second consecutive Swatch Ticket to Ride world title. Peetu also takes the overall title on this season’s Burton Global Open Series. Plus, Iouri Podladtchikov wins the superpipe comp at the inaugural Winter X Games Europe.
We close the show with skate coverage from the Florida Bowlriders Cup, where 15-year-old Brazilian Pedro Barros adds two more victories to his perfect season on the concrete calendar.
