Helly Hansen Strengthens Resort Uniform Division, Naming Oliver Flaser Uniform Category Manager
Helly Hansen, the world’s most experienced performance apparel brand, today named Oliver Flaser to the newly created global position of Category Manager – Resort Uniforms. During the past five seasons, Helly Hansen has developed a highly acclaimed uniform business based on its unique ability to offer durable, customized technical apparel, work wear and lifestyle apparel under a single program.
“Our resort program is not a side business for us,” said Gary Davis, general manager for North America. “Working with professionals is an integral part of our business and our brand messaging. As such, we have a team of designers and developers who work exclusively on our uniform business to ensure our resort partners receive an unequivocal level of quality, both in product and service. We are really excited to have Oliver join that team.”
Flaser has 15+ years of experience in the apparel and footwear business, seven of those with Nike and a previous stint with Helly Hansen as National Marketing Manager - Canada. Oliver’s recent experiences included three years as a director at a Vancouver advertising agency and as a marketing consultant assisting businesses throughout the Vancouver to Whistler, B.C. corridor.
