Bruce Berton Resigns from Roochi Traders Inc.
Bruce Berton, a senior apparel executive of many years, is resigning from the day to day operations as EX VP COO position at Roochi Traders Inc. and all its entities as of October 11, 2013, after five years in the position,
Bruce will continue on as a consultant/advisor to Roochi, as well as continuing his consulting/advisory practice at his own firm of B&B International established in 1984.
His offices will remain at Roochi Traders Inc., he will be using his many years of international trade, with his consulting/advisory professional expertise to assist with Import/Export issues globally.
Prior to moving to Roochi Trading Inc. for over 11 years he was a Principal and the Director of Import Consulting for Stonefield Josephson Inc. CPA, now Marcum LLP, accountants and advisors.
Bruce started in the Textile Apparel retail in 1960 rose to the president of retail men's and ladies apparel specialty stores spending 16 years in retails, and has been in international trade, from sourcing globablly, site selection, and making factual plans for the implementation for off-shore manufacturing for over 38 years.
Bruce still is on faculty at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), and lectures on Free Trade Agreement Regulations, Licensing and Branding, Labor Compliance, and International Apparel Trade at many Universities MBA business courses.
