EMP: Alpha Industries Names Steven E. Miller as Chief Financial Officer

American heritage outerwear brand Alpha Industries Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of seasoned financial executive Steven E. Miller as the company’s Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, effective immediately.
Steve joins the iconic military outfitter following more than 30 years of financial experience focused primarily in the retail industry. He served as CFO from 2009 to 2014 at the Schottenstein Luxury Group where he oversaw market opportunity and brand expansion in the world of fine art, handbags, shoes and apparel. Previously, he was the Senior Vice President and Controller for Retail Ventures, Inc. the holding company for DSW, Inc., Filene’s Basement and Value City Department Stores from 2000 to 2009, experiences which include: DSW’s Initial Public Offering. He is an experienced leader of diverse teams improving businesses through innovative business analysis, strategic management, insight and implementation. Prior to this, he held financial leadership positions at Big Lots, Inc. and The Limited Inc. Steve is a CPA and a MBA from The Ohio State University.
