B$Z: '47 Appoints New Canadian Distribution Partner

’47, a privately held, premium sports lifestyle brand, has signed an agreement with the Mint Green Group (MGG), a leading Canadian licensee and distributor, to facilitate all apparel, headwear and accessories sales in Canada on behalf of the brand. Effective immediately, MGG will handle all apparel and accessories sales and select headwear properties for ’47 while they transition from current partners. The terms of the deal were not disclosed however MGG will take over all Canadian sales in full by 2017.

Through the transition,’47 will continue to stock and distribute select products with current vendors. This will include all booking and shipping of ‘47’s Spring and Fall 2016 product, as well as satisfying any at-once or repeat business needs. Mint Green Group will begin booking Spring 2017 product during the brand’s sell-in windows of Summer and Fall of 2016. MGG, as the sole distribution partner, will begin shipping January 1, 2017. This layered transition will allow for a seamless changeover as to not disrupt service to retail partners.
