After years in other industries, and at recommendation from friends within the action sports world, I figured why not join Malakye. I have worked as a photographer, videographer, editor, and (somewhat separately) a DJ in Los Angeles since 2015. One of my longest running positions was a Staff Photographer for Sundance Film Festival until the pandemic shook things up.

But I wasn't always here in LA. Born and raised in Ocean City, MD, my father owned a surf shop and was a competitive surfer that ripped. I have been surfing and skating since around the time I learned to walk. I too spent a long time competing and traveling. I surf and travel to surf as much as I can.
